Just imagine: a 24 foot long battleship made entirely from over 10,000 LEGO pieces!
Jim McDonough spent 3 years building this enormous tribute to the World War II era USS Missouri, making sure to include each and every detail, no matter how small. His massive build contains every gun, turret, and piece of rigging on the actual warship, as well as working lights and even a motorized crane! This obsessively detailed ship was created without glue of any kind, and can be completely disassembled if McDonough so chooses.
This talented Scottish fisherman has used LEGO bricks to explore his passion for naval history by building a variety of historic warships, including a 9 foot long Japanese military transport and Japanese destroyer over 14 feet in length. Just goes to show that with the proper amount of dedication and time, you can truly build ANYTHING with LEGO bricks and little imagination! Click here to learn more about the build!
